Susan Widner is a Native New Mexican born in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Ms. Widner earned her bachelors degree from the University of New Mexico with a major in Economics and a minor in Political Science and her Juris Doctorate at the University of New Mexico School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in State and Federal Courts in New Mexico and Arizona. Ms. Widner is also admitted to appear in the Tribal Courts of the Navajo Nation.

After graduating from law school, Ms. Widner served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the New Mexico State Court of Appeals. After her judicial clerkship, Ms. Widner worked for a short time at a law firm that represented insurance companies and decided that she wanted to represent individuals instead. She has been representing individuals against insurance companies and governmental entities since 2001.
