Linda L. Ellison
Ms. Ellison received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Maryís College in Notre Dame, Indiana in 1986 with a double major in Psychology and English Literature with a minor in Sociology. She received her Juris Doctorate in 1990 from University of New Mexico School of Law where she honed her skills in Alternative Dispute Resolution by completing eighty hours of training in General and Family Law Mediation. She is admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico, United States District Court for the State of New Mexico and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Ellison has a statewide practice having appeared in most counties throughout New Mexico: Bernalillo, Valencia, Sandoval, Torrance, Cibola, McKinley, San Juan, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe, San Miguel, Quay, Curry, Socorro, Sierra, Catron, Grant, Dona Ana, Chaves, and Otero. In addition, she has been Court appointed to serve as a Settlement Facilitator as part of the Second Judicial District Courtís Year Round Settlement Facilitation Program as well as being Court appointed Arbitrator in the Districtís Court-Annexed Arbitration Panel.
Ms. Ellison has served as a Board Member of the Family Law Section of the State of New Mexico (2002-2011). Ms. Ellison held the Chair Position for the Family Law Section in 2005 and Chair of the Family Law Institute Committee in 2004 and 2006-2011. She is an active member of the Albuquerque Bar Association and has also been a member of the New Mexico Collaborative Practice Group, Albuquerque Collaborative Practice Group and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
