Ms. Lueker-Eaton is an attorney with the Carter & Valle Law Firm practicing in the areas of Family Law, Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury.
Ms. Lueker-Eaton always wanted to be a storyteller. As an attorney, Ms. Lueker-Eaton has found a powerful venue for telling stories that have a concrete impact on people’s lives. Ms. Lueker-Eaton obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Oberlin College in 1998. In 2004, Ms. Lueker-Eaton won a Screen writing Award from the Chicago Indiefest.  

While Ms. Lueker-Eaton earned her Masters’ of Fine Arts in Fiction, she was awarded a Graduate Council Thesis Fellowship in 2006 to write her first novel, as her Master’s Thesis.

Ms. Lueker-Eaton earned her Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2010. During law school Ms. Lueker-Eaton competed in the American Bar Association Moot Court and successfully represented UNM School of Law in one out of three rounds of a regional appellate advocacy competition in Brooklyn, New York. Throughout law school, Ms. Lueker-Eaton clerked for several personal injury law firms located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Ms. Lueker-Eaton is a member in good standing with the New Mexico Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the State of New Mexico.
